Summer is just around the corner, which means soon teens will be playing at the pool, tanning in the sun, sleeping as long as they want, and dancing the night away to some of their favorite singers.

This summer has a lot of amazing concerts lined up in and around the Philadelphia area. Teens and young adults can look forward to some of the most popular artists coming this summer.

“I can’t wait to be done with school and be able to go to concerts with my friends. I think concerts are the best thing to do during the summer and I can’t wait to sing and dance with my friends,” said Kayla Parkinson, a student at Archbishop Ryan.

The most popular artists coming to Philadelphia this summer are Ed Sheeran, Fifth Harmony, Lady Gaga and Zac Brown Band.

Ed Sheeran will be touring for his new album “Divide.” His performances will take place on July 11 and 12 at Wells Fargo Center.

Fifth Harmony has become a very popular girl band over the past few years. This year they will be coming to Mann Center for the Performing Arts, on May 26.

The next big artist is Lady Gaga. Gaga was the 2017 Super Bowl halftime performer. The day after her big performance, she announced that she would be doing a world tour. Lady Gaga will be coming to Wells Fargo Center on September 10 and 11.

The final popular artist coming is Zac Brown Band. Zac Brown Band has become a very popular country band. Every year, they have a huge turn out. This year they have decided to schedule two days for New Jersey. They will be performing on July 14 and July 15 at BB&T & Pavilion, Camden.

Besides these really big and popular artists coming this summer, some other well known concerts happening are:

  • Shawn Mendes at Wells Fargo Center on August 22.
  • Florida Georgia Line with Nelly on July 22 at Hersheypark Stadium.
  • Luke Bryan with Brett Eldredge at Hersheypark Stadium, on June 23.
  • Austin Mahone at Coda near Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, PA on June 12.
