After seven years of being off television screens, “Prison Break” has returned on air but only for nine episodes.

“Prison Break” first aired on Fox network in 2005 and continued for four seasons until 2009. The show is focused on two brothers. Lincoln Burrows is sentenced to death for a crime he did not commit. His brother, Michael Scofield, robs a bank to purposely go to the same prison as Burrows so he can break his brother out.

Millions of viewers tuned in each week to see how Michael Scofield was going to get his innocent brother  out of Fox River Penitentiary. Each episode left viewers on the edge of their seats wondering how the brothers were getting themselves out.

Now Michael Scofield and gang are back to the same old games of breaking out of prisons. This nine episode revival of “Prison Break” gives viewers the same fresh, mysterious, and edgy feel like season one did.

All of the fan favorite characters are back in action. Michael Scofield portrayed by Wentworth Miller, Lincoln Burrows portrayed by Dominic Purcell, Sara Tancredi- Scofield played by Sarah Wayne Callies, and T-Bag played by Robert Knepper are just some of the many returning favorites.

Fans were quite unhappy with how “Prison Break” ended almost a decade ago.

Archbishop Ryan Junior Elysia Rosario said, “’Prison Break’ was one of my favorite shows. So as a huge fan of the show, I was pretty upset with the finale. I felt like it was unfair to the fans to just end it the way the writers did.”

Rather than being upset about the finale, long time fan Stella McBride stated, “ I was actually satisfied with how ‘Prison Break’ ended. The finale just proved how far Michael would go for the ones he loves.”

Viewers can expect another amazing season of “Prison Break.” “Prison Break” airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on Fox.
